Movement Phases 1 - 5
In the phase, the CB follows the instructions that have been programmed into it's instruction registers. But watch out, the level elements also affect your CB. During each movement phase, the level elements act in the following order:
1. The CB moves
2. Bit streams move. If your CB is in one, it will be moved in the direction of the stream.
3. Frictionless tiles move. If your CB has been moved onto a frictionless tile, it will continue moving in the direction it last moved until it is off the tile.
4. Lasers fire. Laser tiles and your CB's forward firing laser will fire simultaneously. If any laser sensors are hit, doors may switch on and off. Watch out, if you are hit by laser fire, you will take one point of damage.
-
Move forward one tile in the direction your CB is facing.
-
Move forward two tiles in the direction your CB is facing.
-
Move forward three tiles in the direction your CB is facing.
-
Move backward one tile.
-
Turn 90 degrees left.
-
Turn 90 degrees right.
-
Turn around 180 degrees.
The CB will follow each instruction in the 5 registers in order from left to right. After it completes the instruction the tile it occupies may affect the CB. After the tile affects the CB, the CB will fire its laser in the direction it's facing.
-
Nothing happens here.
-
The dreaded Blue Screen of Death (BSoD). It kills CBs instantly.
-
The error box. It will damage your CB by one point.
-
The bit-stream. It will move your CB one tile along its flow. Be careful it doesn't pull it into a BSoD.
-
The chip. Your CB cannot move on chips and chips are impervious to laser fire.
-
The door. Doors are opened and closed by buttons and laser sensors of the corresponding color. Closed doors block lasers and movement.
-
The button. Buttons toggle the state of similarly colored doors. Activate a button by moving on it.
-
The laser sensor. Sensors detect lasers passing though and act like switches. Activate a sensor by firing a laser at it.
-
The mirror. Mirrors reflect lasers 90 degrees.
- Frictionless tiles. When these tiles are landed on, they will slide the CB in the direction it last moved until the CB is on a non-frictionless tile.
- Laser tiles. These tiles will fire a laser in the direction they are facing. This laser acts just like the CB's laser. It can toggle laser sensors and damage the CB.
